Established in 1977, Don Dommer Associates (DDA) provides creative and personal architectural design, master planning, and interior design services to public clients throughout the West Coast. We specialize in public and community building types- specifically community gathering places, children's centers, university / college facilities, and essential services buildings. Our designs reflect the needs and values of owners and occupants. We strive to create an environment that embodies the mission of these interested entities, rather than design a monument to ourselves. Our buildings are often described as “distinguished, original, and considerate.”

Don Dommer Associates designs buildings from the inside out, incorporating the latest technologies in building systems and materials. We listen carefully to our clients so that we can translate their intentions into a building they will use for years to come. Our buildings are both functional and aesthetically pleasing, often reflecting the character of the surrounding neighborhood and  community.

DDA is a Small Local Business Enterprise certified by the City of Oakland, City of Sacramento, County of Alameda, Port of Oakland, and State of California.
